who has two thumbs and hates baby showers? this girl.

it's just so awkward. games, presents, the food is ok, i guess. a few weeks ago i saw my friend who is expecting in a month or so. it was good seeing her, but man, if i have a kid, i will never do that to my friends or family. don't get me started on the baby registry thing, where everything in the store (i mean stores) is on the list, one in every color. some of that crap is the responsibility of the parent, you know? like bottles, pacifiers, diapers, strollers, etc. i thought baby shower gifts were supposed to be fun?
